TSANZ Project Officer/Administrator (part-time 30 hours)

The Transplantation Society of Australia & New Zealand (TSANZ) is an incorporated, professional specialist medical society that has as its members, scientists, doctors, transplant coordinators and research students who have an interest in all forms of transplantation.

TSANZ is seeking to employ a suitably qualified person (part-time) to provide project management, secretarial and administrative support to TSANZ advisory committees and working groups and to a number of agencies working collaboratively with TSANZ in the organ donation and transplant sector, notably the Australasian Transplant Coordinators Association (ATCA) and the Organ and Tissue Authority (OTA). Maintaining currency of a number of practice documents is also an important component of the job.

Expressions of interest should outline relevant experience, and your ability to fulfil the objectives of the duties of the position as outlined in the position description.

The successful applicant will be offered a position to commence as soon as possible until 30 June 2018 with the likelihood of extension depending on future funding and suitability.

A consumer representative should ideally be someone who has undergone a transplantation procedure relevant to the advisory committee; a community representative is expected to provide community perspective in respect of organ transplantation. These are not paid positions but certain costs are reimburseable as explained in the Information Sheet at the back of the Application Form which also contains details should you require further information
